Thanks to everyone for their congratulations yesterday, I think I was still in shock when we got home at 9.45pm last night .

And our congratulations go to all of the winners yesterday. And it was lovely to see 3 teams in the Breeders class.

We had a fantastic day! I'm so proud of Dad & Koda, Sheila & Merlin, Janice & Zoe and of course my own ASBO twins. Dad looked great in the Group ring and Koda moved really well but no luck in the group. The pups took the Breeders Group 2 so well done team Riverwatcher!!

It was a real family affair with Dad, Woody being Best Dog and Grandad Raggs being reserve Best Dog and Zoe following in mum's footsteps with Reserve Best Bitch at 8mths!

I'm hijacking Purdy's thread & usings Carol's membership to post my critique here This has been sent to the dog papers, so should be in print soon.

I'd just like to say thanks to everyone who entered & supported me




An entry of varying quality with a fair number of exhibits carrying a little too much weight. A very hard decision for me on awarding Best of Breed due to the two outstanding Best Of Sex exhibits. Both being of equal merit, the decision in the end being made solely on my preferring bitches.

Puppy Dog (1,0a)
1st O'Brien's Riverwatcher Takubvik. Correct head & ear set. Eyes still to darken. Moved well for a youngster.

Junior Dog (1,0a)
1st Loebel's Danehaven Mceachern. Good shoulder & front angulation. Correct tailset. Moved with drive.

Post Graduate Dog (4,0a)
1st Powley's Danehaven Mackenzie. Good shaped head with correct almond eye shape & correct ear set. Good front angulation & length of body. Good bend of stifle & tail carriage. Slightly overweight which spoils the overall picture.
2nd Reader's Eusanit Visions of Chillbrav. Sound dog with good construction. Straight front & good movement but again carrying a little too much weight.
3rd Rogers Eusanit Take It Easy.

Open Dog (6,1a)
1st Harding & Whitehill's Trevargh The Entertainer at Brizewood. Quality example of the breed. Well angulated front with a deep chest & good spring of rib. Close coupled with a good turn of stifle. Straight front standing on tight feet. Lovely, full red coat, Plenty of bone.Correct tail carriage. Well presented. Moved with drive round the ring. Best Dog.
2nd Westwood & Johnson's Can Ch Ir Ch Littleriver's Colonial Boy with Tollyhimmel (imp). Sire of my Best Dog & showing many attributes of his progeny. In full coat. Good front & chest with well sprung ribs. Close coupled with good turn of stifle. Moved with drive but another exhibit who is carrying a little too much weight. Res Best Dog.
3rd Powley's Danehaven Detroit.

Puppy Bitch (3,0a)
1st Russell & Smith's Riverwatcher Yakone. Quality puppy with a lovely feminine head & well set ears & almond shaped eyes. Good front angulation & spring of rib. Good turn of stifle & lovely muscle tone. Moved well. Best Puppy & Res Best Bitch.
2nd Anstead's Riverwatcher Iyaroak. Litter sister to 1 but less bone. Not as settled as 1 which affected her movement.
3rd Anstead's Riverwatcher Ikkuma.

Post Graduate Bitch (5,2a)
1st Powley's Danehaven Taseko. Nice sized bitch but carrying a little too much weight. Well angulated front. Moved well.
2nd Denton's Flanova Port Charlotte. Feminine head, straight front. Lacking in body & coat.
3rd Sayer's Danehaven Rouge with Hollymist.

Open Bitch (7,2a)
1st Anstead's Shoredancer Sea Pink via Riverwatcher. Quality bitch of lovely proportions. Correct height & in full coat. Good head with feminine expression. Good shoulder placement & front angulation. Ample chest & ribs. Close coupled. Good bend of stifle. Lovely movement with drive & well presented. Best Bitch & Best Of Breed.
2nd Denton's Sweet Easter Surprise. Good head & nice expression. Well constructed. Light in colour.
3rd Westwood & Johnson's Alliance De La Vie So Fantastic with Tollyhimmel (imp).
