We have 2 dogs and a cat who sheds quite a lot. Find the Dyson animal great. Had it for a good number of years now, broke once while in warranty.

I have a Dyson Animal but the brush tends to get clogged with Toller hair, I resort to putting my walking boots on and scraping the hair up into piles off the carpet which I then hoover up - good for the legs ???!!!! The Toller hair comes up well that way, it is the black labrador hair that is a pig. I have an elderly re-usable bag Hoover Sprint for the hard floor areas I call it my dusting Hoover and it is on its last legs - they don't make them anymore and I shall cry when it dies !!

we have a Miele cat and dog 5000 and with 3 cats and a toller it copes really well. Have had a Dyson in the past but found it too heavy. However we have all our floors downstairs (animal territory) tiled with no carpet which is a huge help, even if it does mean you can see the tumbleweed wafting about Laughing Laughing Must go and get the hoover out Sad
